1. Avocado Oil
Now, I know what you’re thinking… Avocado oil? Yes… using this helps you take off a day’s worth of makeup in one swipe. There are so many benefits to using an oil on your skin as well, such as regenerative and moisturizing properties and vitamin E. Avocado oil also enhances the absorption of carotenoids and other nutrients, high skin penetration with rapid absorption.
2. 100% Cotton Rounds
When using the avocado oil to take off your makeup these rounds are easier then using cotton balls, these just lay right on the surface to make eyeshadow slip right off! One cotton round can take the makeup off your whole face while using the avocado oil from above, so now wasting here. Cotton rounds are also great for taking off your nail polish, so no worries there.
3. Dudu Osun Black Soap
This is the newest item in the night time cleansing rotation. I found this item from watching April Athena on Youtube. She was talking about how she loves the item and it has helped her skin out so much, so in natural form, curiosity got the best of me and the search began. This soap claims to help relieve acne, oily skin and premature facial lines which is always great to start taking measures to delay them. Here are some of the ingredients: Pure honey, Shea butter, Osun (Camwood), Palm kernel Oil, Cocoa pod ash, palm bunch ash, Aloe Vera, Lime Juice, Lemon Juice, Water and Fragrance. With using this soap I have noticed that my blemishes on the face have lightened and that my little pimples I would get here and there have lessened greatly!
4. Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herb, and Rosewater
This is a great facial mist for instant hydration for the skin. This is used after the Avocado Oil and Dudu Osun Soap but before and after putting on moisturizer. Finding this, and implementing it in my routine has worked best for extra moisture. It’s a great pick me up during the day and also wonderful for setting your makeup. Bonus perk this can be used in the hair to add a little something extra. This can be found at your local Ulta or online.
5. Hollywood Beauty Cocoa Butter
As a product that has been by my side for years, Hollywood Beauty Cocoa Butter isn’t 100% pure coca butter, but a great alternative for those that don’t love the smell of cocoa butter like myself. Over the years this has helped fade dark spot, scars, and that’s right… stretch marks. Using this after all the washing and drying of the face is important. This also helps put moisture back into the skin and will come handy during the winter months that are upon us.
6. The Body Shop: Shea butter Body Mist
If this is an accurate representation of what the fragrance of cocoa butter smells like, then I’m 100% in love with it. It has a fresh, nutty, but girly smell going on and perfect for out of the shower scent. Body Sprays last longer when you layer the scents, spray out of the shower while still a little damp, lotion up, and then spray again for an all day lingering scent. Body Shop always has a sale going on so check this mist out…you won’t be sorry.
7. Bath and Body Works Warm Sugar Vanilla Body Cream
This body cream is super thick and a little goes a long way. The scent is so delightful and mixes well with the Shea butter spray scent too which is a plus. Bath and Body Works always has a great sale going on.
8. Ardell Dark Adhesive and Ardell Double Individuals
On the list of top ten these are just added together because they go hand in hand. Individual lashes do take little practice but are a lot easier to apply then most would think! Just make sure that your glue is a tacky consistency before applying so they don’t slip around all over the place. These lashes look so natural and add that extra touch to your eyes. 9. Bh Cosmetics Liquid Foundation
This is a great foundation, having 12 different shades in the collection. This foundation is a medium coverage and can be applied all the way up to full coverage if that is something that you desire. 10. Inglot Sparkling Dust
This is the perfect highlight dust. “This frosted loose powder is highly pigmented to provide the ultimate glow to any part of the body.
