The autumn fashion runways featured a variety of eyeliner techniques. Here are some fast lessons to help you get the same looks as the models!
I like to use Gel Eyeliner with an Eyeliner brush to get all of these looks. Using a brush makes the line easy to control and very neat. My favorite liners to use are the Mary Kay Gel Eyeliner in Black and the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner.

Double Wing
This bold pattern goes well with bold colors and it’s easy to add a nice pop of color!
Step 1:
Apply eyeliner to the upper lash line.
Step 2:
Create a basic wing by following your lower lash line upwards to create a triangle shape. Then connect the wings with the rest of the eyeliner.
Step 3:
Make another line using the same shade of eyeliner or a different shade (I’m using liquid eyeliner here) to add some color. Start near the first wing, then make a thin parallel line next to it. Then hold the line down and define the lower lash line.

Thick Liner
Intensely defining your eyes instantly creates a “dog eye” effect. This is perfect for a delicate and feminine look.
Step 1:
Apply eyeliner on the upper lash line.
Step 2:
Slowly and carefully thicken the line using short strokes until you get close to the desired thickness. Then make a final, long, fluid stroke to create a sharp, rounded line.

Retro liner
Cut crease eyeliner from the 60’s is very popular on the fall fashion runways! If you love the pin-up look, this eyeliner style is for you!
Step 1:
Line the eyes naturally, place eyeliner near the base of the lash line, and create wings. Next, pass a line from the wing through the area just above the crease, then extend the line to the inner corner.
Step 2:
Even a little fog is okay! To do this step, simply use a cotton swab dipped in makeup remover and remove excess eyeliner. This will create sharp lines and complete the look!
