In the fall things start to change, the air gets a little more crisp, apples and pumpkins are everywhere you turn, and you want to change up the fashion and your lifestyle to match. Here are some of my favorites things to have all fall long.
Candles are a must in my household. I pretty much always have one burning somewhere in the house and things that smell of the season are the best to me. DW Home candles have been hitting it out of the park. Warm Tobacco Pipe is more than amazing with the scents of brushed suede meld with aromatic greens, soft weathered woods, earthy patchouli, smoky leather and of course warm tobacco. In other words, delicious!
If you don’t want to wait for the mailman to bring in your order you can always run into your local Bath and Body Works store and grab some candles. Some of my favorites are Leaves, Marshmallow Fireside, Mahogany Teakwood and Flannel. If you can’t tell I love to have scents that are a little more masculine and sexy, if that’s not your cup of tea, take a walk around the store to find your favorites!
Dark denim is a must in the fall months, you can mix it with flannels, leather jackets, boots and be on your way. Some favorite affordable pairs can be found at Forever 21 and H&M. Skinny, boyfriend, high waist jeans, you name it, you can find it at these stores and not break the bank!
Combat boots, are my go to for the fall and winter months, if it’s raining… combats, if it’s cloudy… combats, if it’s windy… combat. They can go with many things and are so comfortable. Now there are a lot of different styles of combats but I love the slim profile boots, with the zipper on the inner part of the shoe. If you love Dr. Martens have at it, but I love my Zigi Soho Punisher Boots. I have two back up pair already just in case!
Dark vampy lips is what this time of the year calls for. Break out all of those dark colors that we have pushed to the back of our makeup drawers. Dark berries, red, and black are the go to for the season. Liquid lipsticks are the way to go if you want to wear these colors for a long time and not have to worry about transfer. LA Splash Liquid lipsticks are great choice and they won’t have you go broke. Some of my favorite shades are Untamed, Malevolent, and Venom from the line. They have so many more but those were the ones calling my name. If you prefer regular lipsticks, Colour Pop has a great selection of colors that you can add to your collection without going over board. I can recommend Creature and Grunge, and from the Ultra matte lip collection LAX and Limbo are to die for!
This is the season of spiced chia lattes and pumpkin spice, OMG, there is no denying it! Everywhere you turn, look, or go there is someone with a cup of hot something walking around. If you need a great drink to try out, the pumpkin spice coffees from Dunkin Donuts are wonderful and you can order them a million different ways (I always ask for extra pumpkin flavor). You can also get the seasonal drinks that your local Starbucks has to offer. Nothing gets you more in the fall mood like a cup of hot joe.
